Meet David
I grew up near Seattle in a family rooted in the coal mining history of Black Diamond. My grandfather taught me to work hard, stay close to family, and never stop learning—values that carried me through Western Washington University, where I became the first in my family to graduate from a 4-year college.
In 2007, my wife Jennifer and I chose Colorado as the place to raise our two sons, drawn to its mountains, fresh air, and community spirit.
Professionally, I’ve worked both in corporate America and as a small business owner, using decades of experience to help other businesses grow. I also serve as a certified ski instructor, sharing my lifelong love of the outdoors at Colorado’s ski areas.
My family and I believe in service, community, and giving back.
After 17 years in Evergreen, we’ve made our long-term home in Littleton. We have grown close to our neighbors and friends here and love the unique character and vibrant community around us. As I visit with my fellow Littletonians, they know how unique and special this city is. That’s why I joined this race, to preserve our community’s heritage and safeguard what brought so many of us here to Littleton!
